Unconventional method of measuring mountain stream armouring

New method of measuring coarse stream bed load based on the photographs taken in natural conditions was presented. The pictures are converted into raster format and processed by computer using AutoCAD v.5 and CorelDraw v.5 programmes to determine the diameters for given fraction. The results were a basis to plot the bed load granulation curve
