Artificially wetted to 45% moisture content oak and pine woodchips and sawdust were dried in computer controlled laboratory drier in a layer 10 mm thick at the temperatures 100, 120, 140 deg C. The drying curves were presented in graphical form and described by rational function equations. High consistency of experimental and computed results was obtained
