Yielding and elemental composition of spelt wheat grain and straw
1997
Palys, E. | Labuda, S. (Agricultural Univ. of Lublin (Poland))
The mineral composition (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Na, Cl, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu) of both grain and straw was determined for four cultivars of winter spelt wheat (Triticum aestivum L. subsp. spelta (L.) Thell.), Baulander Spelz and Schwabenkorn (German), Rouquin (Belgian), and Loge (Swiss). The highest grain yield was recorded from Rouquin and Loge. The study proved that spelt wheat is an interesting crop and could be considered for cultivation in various agricultural systems
