Possibilities for integrated monitoring of air pollution effects on ecosystems in Slovenia

The article presents preparation of performing of integrated monitoring of air pollution effects on ecosystems in Slovenia, with the monitoring area already selected. The organisation as to the implementation of monitoring, the regime of the management of the area, the mode of declaring of forests with a special purpose within the selected area and as prescribed by Forest Act, the ways of regulating ownership relations are described. The management regime forbids all economic activities, thus severely restricting utilisation of private property. As to the owner's interest such conditions can be solved temporarily with annual indemnities or permanently by exchange of areas or their purchasing. The estimate as to the funds required for the implementation of monitoring has also been included
