When crossing cultivated tomato (L. esculentum) with a wild species (L. peruvianum) high enough ability to form ovaries of fruits occurs. But the seeds of the majority of them are found to be underdeveloped and unvital. The method of embryocallus makes it possible to obtain normally developed seeds
