The improved construction of cutting apparatus of feed harvester is developed which includes a knife drum with an anti-cutting part, flatting rolls and an accelerator set up in a silo tube, rotation axes of which are parallel. The cutting apparatus proposed makes it possible to achieve decrease in energy consumption at 100 % cutting of maize grain
