This 1980 annual report gives details of the activities of the Belize Unit of CARDI. This report offers a description of the construction of an outreach station at Belmopan. It details Small Farm Systems Research as it relates to (a) animal power on farm (b) irrigation (c) diversification of farm produce (d) land clearing under fruit trees (e) milk goats and kitchen garden and (f) field days and seminar. The work also concentrates on studies on peanut, corn and grain legumes. Insights into varietal trial potato and rainfall pattern and production of crops are given. A list of scientific papers which were prepared is also included.
