The effect of methods of cultivation on earliness and yielding of sweet corn was investigated. Plants without lateral shoots yielded earlier in both methods of cultivation (from sowing and from seedlings) and produced heavier ears in the case of plants obtained from sowing. Cultivation from seedlings allowed gaining earlier yields
