Effect of tillage systems and soil mulching with intercrops on mineral nitrogen content in soil and plant yield

Simplification of tillage (grubber) under intercrops compared to skimming did not influenced spring barley and corn yields. Soil mulching with intercrop biomass had no significant effect on barley and corn yields. Mineral nitrogen content was lower in the late autumn and a little higher in spring on objects with intercrops. Effect of mulching and grubbering on mineral nitrogen content in soil depended on weather condition
