The article presents the method of optimization of agricultural tractors power degrees number. The method was described on an example of a country commune assumed as the research area. In the effect of the optimization for various variants of tractors power degrees number determined were: the optimal tractor power for the each degree, the optimal ranges of tractors requirement and the numerical requirement of tractors for each power degree
