Influence of some pyridine herbicides on microorganisms count and amount of microbial biomas in soil

The influence of four pyridine herbicides on the number of microorganisms and the microbial biomass in soil was tested. The obtained results indicate that all the tested herbicides affect the soil microflora. The number of bacteria and fungi was mostly decreased, that of actinomycetes - increased, the microbial biomass also slightly increased. Some differences between the sandy and and heavy soil were found
