Wastewater treatment efficiency on soil-and-plant treatment system in summer and winter period

This paper present wastewater treatment efficiency on the soil-and-plant system at Brzezno village (Poland) with quality of flow 110 cu. m per day. Wastewater treatment efficiency in summer and winter period was analysed. Decrease of the carbon compounds (BOD sub(5), COD sub(Cr), COD sub(Mn)) and biogenic substances as treatment efficiency indexes were used. Presented results proved that not only in summer but also in winter, properly run, this system showed incomparably higher efficiency that other type of plant treatment systems
