The compared objects were at a short distance from one an another so they had similar climatic, hydrobiological and tophographical conditions. Their mechanical composition was similar. The effects of recultivation of arable soil after clearing the orchard land was evalued on the basis of its enzymatic activity and chemical composition. It was stated that recultivation of the soil increased the enzymatic activity parameters and increased the content of C total and pH(KCl). The content of N-NO3 and N-NH4 in the soil of the 25-year-old cleared apple orchard was significantly lower then in the other studied site. The success in increasing parameters of enzymatic activity in evaluation of soil reclamation was confirmed
