In the last ten years a discrete number of wild brown trouts, mediterranean phenotype, Salmo (trutta) trutta, L., caught by fly fishing, lives in a renaturalized artificial tank. Alimentation is based on artificial feeding and little alive fishes. After rigorous selection, they are used for artificial reproduction. Selection is founded on five elements: phenotype characters, annual body growth, eggs number produced by Kg body weight, egg dimension, egg maturation period. Adequate incubation, hatching and first growth stage give 130,000 young wild brown trouts each year, used to controlled restocking in pure water streams. Pure and upright habitat is guide to an efficent salmonid waters management proposal
