A laboratory incubation study was undertaken to investigate the effect of lime and K in presence and absence of added B on changes in availability of both native and applied B in an aeric Haplaquept. Application of K with increasing levels decreased the available B content in soil whereas the same in association with lime increased available B content. Recovery of the added B was greater when K at lower and higher levels was combined with B at the lower level in the presence of lime at the lower level

[E' stato condotto uno studio di incubazione in laboratorio per accertare l'effetto della calce e del K in presenza e assenza di B aggiunto sui cambiamenti nella disponibilita' di boro nativo e aggiunto in un suolo Haplaquept aerico. L'aggiunta di potassio a livelli crescenti diminuiva il contenuto di B disponibile nel terreno, mentre lo stesso in associazione con la calce aumentava il contenuto di B disponibile. Il ritrovamento del B aggiunto era maggiore quanto il K ai livelli piu' basso e piu' elevato era combinato con il B al livello inferiore in presenza di calce al livello piu' basso]
