Weed infestation on ecological farm fields in Narkowo, Radziejow administrative district

In view of local research carried out in between April and half of June 2000, 56 phytosociological records were made in Narkowo, on the premises of an ecological farm and neighbouring traditional farms. The change of farming system from traditional to ecological in 1991 caused an increase in the number of weeds (52 species from 18 botanical families), in comaparison with traditional farms, where 26 species from 14 families occurred
