Application of Monte Carlo method to simulation of threshing process at combine harvesting of the cereals

Threshing process in combine harvester is described by the random variables as grain moisture content, grain damages and under-threshing losses. An attempt was made to describe the process by stochastic model and to simulate it using Monte Carlo method. Empirical data to the model included following independent variables: feeding rate, threshing drum revolution speed, clearance of working gap. Total grain losses were affected by under-threshing and damage percentage of harvested grain. Measurement results were the basis to making simulation. The paper evaluated an agreement of the course of simulated and empirical variables
