The results of this experiment showed that Mn oxides have a high ability to adsorb and desorb B. thus, Mn oxides play an important role in the behaviour of B in soil and consequently determine its availability to plants. On soils with a high content of Mn oxides and high pH, B leaching into dipper soil layers may be reduced. Also, under such soil conditions, B availability to plants may be limited as a result of its low desorption from Mn oxides
