Water runoff from the loess basin under agricultural management within 1956-99

Results of 44 year continuous studies on the runoff of water, soil sediments and dissolved salts from the loessive basin of Elizowka river, 6.22 square km area, were presented. It was proved that such studies were important to determine the denudation intensity. Complementary study including observations on real soil erosion damages in the basin would be required to evaluate the intensity and harmfulness of erosion process
