Assesment of ecologically most favourable manufacture of wooden chairs by means of AHP method

The article discusses the problem of selection of a most environment-friendly manufacture of wooden chairs. Solutions can be found by using a model based on the method of analytic hierarchy process (AHP). This method allows us to include various, also directly unmeasurable parameters, in a model. On the basis of this, ponders are then calculated for each individual system parameter, and the optimisation of the entire system is carried out. The article presents theoretical bases of the method and a concrete calculation problem.
