The effect of autumn and spring term fertilization on the content of organic matter, forms of N in soil, reaction and nutrient resources in the soil was investigated in greenhouse experiment. The straw was added at 2 levels of moisture of soil carrying out 40 and 70 percent maximum water capacities and with addition nitrogen and calcium oxide. In experimental conditions the straw fertilization with addition of N was influence on the increase of organic matter and nitrogen in soil independent on term its used. From among of mineral forms of nitrogen it was found more N-NH4 than N-NO3 in soil. Term of straw fertilization did not any influence on the available phosphorus and magnesium in the soil, but autumn term of straw fertilization caused increase of available potassium concentration. Reaction of soil depended only from liming of soil
