Content of colchicine in corms and edaphic conditions of Colchicum autumnale L. from Kaczawskie Mountains (Poland)

The chemical properties and colchicine content in Colchicum autumnale corms from sities localized in Kaczawskie Mountains were studied. The colchicine content in corms differs significantly and depends on chemical properties of the soils. This dependence is confirmed by the calculated significant correlations between colchicine content and soil pH, Mn and Fe content
