英语. Twenty-six citrus genotypes have been tested for ornamental purpose. C 5393 hybrid shows an early flowering and a high capacity to give several bloomings. Amosi 10 fruit ripens earlier than other ornamental citrus. ISA red lemon is a variety with a yellow-red peel. Fruit of S. Barbara red lime have a strong persistence on tree. Buddha's hand citron is very much flavoured. Microcitrus papuana has a globe-shaped dense foliage. Grafted varieties grow better on Volkameriana lemon and Alemow. They stimulate the vegetative development and increase the fruit number per tree

L'ibrido C 5393 presenta fioritura precoce e una notevole capacita' di fruttificazione. Il frutto dell'Amosi 10 matura prima degli altri agrumi ornamentali. Il limone rosso ISA e' una varieta' con frutti a buccia di colore giallo-rosso. I frutti della lima rossa di S. Barbara sono caratterizzati da una forte persistenza sulla pianta. Il cedro Mano di Budda e' molto profumato. Microcitrus papuana presenta fogliame denso con chioma globosa. Le varieta' innestate crescono meglio su limone Volkameriano e Alemow. Essi stimolano lo sviluppo vegetativo e aumentano il numero di frutti per pianta]
