英语. In Spring 2002 a severe decline and mortality of Scotch broom seedlings and adult plants was observed in a nursery and in a restored mine in Central Italy. Diseased plants showed yellowing and wilting of leaves extending to the main stem and death. Phytophthora megasperma was identified as causal agent of the disease

Le piante colpite mostravano ingiallimento e necrosi fogliari estesi fino al fusto, seguiti da morte. Phytophthora megasperma e' risultato essere l'agente causale della malattia
