This article is based on a general analysis of what this shelf life is, by whom it is set and how exactly each food product has its own shelf life. In the paper are presented foods that can be eaten even when expired, foods that in no case should be eaten when expired, foods that never expire. I also touch on the subject of expired products in the food industry and what happens to them.
