compiled chiefly from the celebrated "Library of useful knowledge," just published by a committee of one hundred and fifty eminent agriculturists, who have used every means in their power, in investigating this useful branch of agriculture. The "American farrier" contains the result of their experiments and researches, with many additions, adapting the whole to the present state of farriery in the United States ; illustrated by engravings, and arranged on a new plan by H.L. Barnum. Editor of the "Farmer's reporter."
