Preparation and properties of quinaldine sulfate
1973
Allen, J. L. (John L) | Sills, Joe B.
The preparation of quinaldine sulfate (QdSo4) from practical grade quinaldine and sulfuric acid yields a crystalline produce which is water soluble and easily purified by recrystallization. The crystallization material has little odor and is water soluble; thus, it is less objectionable and much easier to handle than quinaldine for anesthetizing fish.
