Bibliography of bark
1966
Nearly three million tons of Douglas fir bark are produced yearly in Oregon as a by-product of logging. With increasing information available on the economic potential of bark and with increasing public pressure for less air pollution by burning, a careful study of the properties, chemistry, and possible uses of bark will be profitable in both money and public relations. Included are references on the anatomy and chemistry of bark, by-products of bark, agriculture and forestry industry, as well as a selection of publications containing substantial references or discussions on bark.
