Walter LeRoy Sayre daybooks, 1926-1960
1926-1960
Sayre, Walter LeRoy
The Walter LeRoy Sayre Daybooks consist of 14 daily diaries written by Sayre. The books record Sayre's daily schedules and activities from 1926 through 1940, and 1944. A second author, probably Sayre's wife, Esther (Robinson) Sayre (1897-1991), added comments and recorded daily events from the late 1950s and early 1960s. There are some loose items, such as receipts and notes, inserted within the pages.
