Nordin, R. N. (Richard Nels) | Pommen, L. W. | Marr, Ben
This summary document on nitrogen (nitrate, nitrite and ammonia) is one in a series which establishes ambient water quality guidelines (criteria) for British Columbia. These are used to set ambient water quality objectives to protect the most sensitive designated water use in a specific body of water. Use may be in the preparation of waste management plans, waste management permits, orders or approvals. The water uses protected include raw drinking, public water supply and food processing water, aquatic life and wildlife use, agricultural use including livestock watering and irrigation, recreation and aesthics and industrial water supplies.
