Persistence of Mancozeb and Propineb in Different Soils
2005
Ahuja, AK | Pande, BN
Persistence of mancozeb and propineb was studied under laboratory condition in four types of soil following treatment at 5 mg kg⁻¹ level. The dissipation of propineb (DT₅₀ 5.9–6.3 d) was faster than mancozeb (DT₅₀ 7.6–9.2 d). Among soils, the dissipation was faster in sandy loam (DT₅₀ 5.9 and 7.6 d) followed by sandy clay (DT₅₀ 6.3 and 8.4 d), clay (DT₅₀ 6.3 and 8.8 d) and loamy sand (DT₅₀ 6.1 and 9.2 d).
