Huge success for flavored milk

A new flavored milk marketed as "Big M" has increased milk consumption in Australia 10 percent since its introduction in January, 1978. Heralded as a "fun" and "in" drink, Big M is sold in five flavors: chocolate, strawberry, banana, egg flip (similar to egg nog), and iced coffee. Designed to entice children and teenagers to drink more milk, Big M has succeeded in making milk a social drink not only among the young but also with adults. Big M is nutritious, being simply a flavored standard white milk.
