Higher total chlorophyll content was recorded in the leaves due to the application of recommended dose of nitrogen + phosphorus + potassium + sulphur + magnesium + zinc + boron, however, highest anthocyanin content was recorded when no fertilizers were applied. Among all fertilizer treatments highest anthocyanin content was recorded at boll bursting stage with recommended dose of N, P, K and S. Application of all nutrients prevented cotton reddening.
