Effect of vermicompost and inorganic fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of Indian mustard

An experiment was conducted at Agronomy Farm, College of Agriculture, Bikaner during rabi season 2010. Application of vermicompost up to 6 t/ha and 80 kg N+ 40 kg P₂O₅/ha significantly increased the number of branches/plant, number of siliqua/plant, number of seed/siliqua seed yield, straw yield, better nitrogen and phosphorus content, uptake in seed and stover, higher protein and oil contents.
