Health center streamlines use of audiovisual aids

Audiovisual aids and programs can be used to help provide effective and efficient in-hospital continuing education programs. The cost of audiovisual equipment can be minimized and use can be maximized by implementing standardization policies that identify and simplify the number and types of equipment to be purchased. The benefits of standardization are examined and the potential drawbacks are noted. The prices of 21 audiovisual equipment formats are presented in chart form.
