In the present study, effect of farmyard manure (FYM), vermicompost and Trichoderma harzianum on plant growth attributes and postharvest life of gladiolus was evaluated. Treatments consisted of FYM, vermicompost, Trichoderma, FYM + vermicompost, FYM + Trichoderma, vermicompost + Trichoderma, FYM + vermicompost + Trichoderma and control. Experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design with three replications. Results revealed that application of vermicompost resulted in maximum number of sprouts/hill, fresh and dry weight of leaves, days taken to open maximum number of florets and vase solution uptake. The earliest sprouting was noted in plants of vermicompost + Trichoderma treatment. Maximum length and width of leaf and number of florets opened at a time were noted in FYM + vermicompost treatment. In postharvest study, plants treated with FYM had maximum weight of spike, length of spike, number of florets/spike, vase life, weight of spike after withering and dry weight of spike.
