Lawmaking is often a bumpy road, with many stops, potholes, and detours. It is not uncommon for Congressional sessions of discussion, debate, concession, and revision to occur before a bill passes. There are a number of Web resources that provide traffic updates on the status of local, state, and national legislation. This article highlights Web sites that map out the legislative process and a few that follow the roads to food and nutrition, physical activity, and health initiatives both nationally and statewide.
