The potential usefulness of nutrition research involving problems of public health is once more being recognized in Great Britain. The Dunn Nutrition Unit in Cambridge has expanded with the specific aims of generating nutritional research geared to the health problems of British people and to the nutritional aspects of the diseases seen in clinical medicine. Types of studies and innovations to the Dunn's program are highlighted. The work is designed to satisfy the needs for both pure and applied research.
