Tumours are gaining the attention in the veterinary sciences as the incidences of tumours are increasing in animals in the changing environmental scenario and most of these tumours evade the treatment and preventive protocols. Studies on these tumours are being conducted in a greater rate in the present days as the present environmental changes are favouring or boosting the incidence of tumour occurrence in animals. Spontaneously occurring tumours in domesticated animals are frequently observed but their reports are very few especially in case of small ruminants. Hence, a review on occurrence of tumours is helpful in understanding the nature of neoplasms and their frequency of occurrence in small ruminants. This report is an attempt to collect and provide details regarding tumours in sheep and goat based on the available records during the period 1990–2017. Trichoepithelioma, cyst adenoma of Bartholin's gland, thecoma, hepatoma, intestinal adenocarcinoma, oral fibrosarcoma, epithelial thymoma, auricular myxoma and submandibular salivary gland tumour are recorded in goats, whereas in sheeps, adamantinoma, pulmonary adenomatosis, squamous cell carcinoma, synovial sarcoma, metastatic chondrosarcoma, haemangioma and haemangiosarcoma are frequently encountered tumours.
