Almost all good mango varieties of India are grown in Madhya Pradesh. Langra, Pairi, Alphonso, Kesar, Mulgoa Bombay Green, Raspari, Sunderja and Gajaria are mango cultivars of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from Sunderja and Gajaria, there are good many other varieties which exist in the 'Amaries' and mango orchards. Description of seven outstanding varieties are given in the paper.
