Analysis of the Curvature in Bicomponent Fibers with Complex Cross Sections

The theoretical analysis based on elementary beam theory and the minimization of strain energy, is developed to predict curvatures of bicomponent fibers with arbitrary cross sections. Comparison of the present prediction with other published results is made in the case of rectangular cross section.
