The paper presents the results of research of an apple orchard agroecosystem aimed at developing an environmental management program for the main phytophages. The potential of a monitoring technique using the cumulative curve is considered. As compared with the conventional monitoring of the codling moth male flight dynamics, the cumulative curve provides a more accurate assessment of pest abundance and can be used to determine the necessary protection measures.
