SynopsisThe four known varieties of berseem exhibited moderate tolerance to salt. In general the sum of total cations in tops showed relatively little variation with increasing salinity. Successive cuts of berseem manifested different responses to salinity which generally though not invariably increased dry matter content in the fresh fodder.
