The nucleophilicity and Lewis basicity of DBU and DBN toward Cₛₚ₂ centers have been measured: nucleophilicities increase in the series DMAP < DBU < DBN < DABCO while Lewis basicities are DABCO < DMAP < DBU < DBN.
