Field experiment was undertaken at AICRP on Fruits, Department of Horticulture, MPKV Rahuri to investigate the effect of plant growth regulators and micronutrients on sweet orange. The experiment was designed in randomized block designed (RBD) with two replication and thirteen treatments. Application of 2-4-D (20 ppm) + ZnSO₄ (1%) + FeSO₄ (1%) + MnSO₄ (1%) significantly increased fruit weight, number of fruits per tree, fruit yield and juice percent. However, application of NAA (100 ppm) + ZnSO₄ (1%) + FeSO₄ (1%) + MnSO₄ (1%) was the best treatment for obtaining fruits with higher TSS, ascorbic acid, reducing sugar and total sugar content in the fruit juice with minimum acidity.
