The Prevalence of Buccal Cervical Root Resorptions in Australian Cats
1990
Coles, Stephen
Cervical root resorptions (neck lesions, cat caries, erosions, etc.) have long been recognized in Australia. Their etiology and progression are yet to be fully documented, and there has not been a statistical analysis of their prevalence published. This study found 52% of the 64 cats examined had one or more buccal root resorption lesions. This study examines the prevalence of these lesions relating to gender, location, and specific tooth types. (This article has been edited as to form but not content).
