Arcispora bisagittaria, an anamorph with basidiomycetous affiliation, is described. It was isolated from foam in a stream in the Miramichi Region, N. Brunswick. The fungus has conidia consisting of a nearly straight axis and two median lateral branches, which are parallel and perpendicular to the axis. The proximal branch grows from the loop of the clamp in the middle of the axis, the distal one directly from the axis. Each branch has a clamp on the outer side of its base. The conidial ends bear thin extensions. An unnamed athelioid teleomorph was obtained in one isolate.
