1984
Devadas, Rajammal P. | Chandrasekhar, Usha | Bhooma, N.
The efficacy of two formulated weaning foods for ragi or rice-based diets, was tested on infants age 3-18 months. The use of these foods, which were formulated to meet infant nutritional requirements, resulted in superior height, weight, and arm and chest circumferences, when compared to a control group of infants not receiving these formulations. The mean anthropometric changes are statistically summarized for the ragi and rice formulations by infant age. (wz)
