Amstutz, M.K. | Dixon, D.L.
The Maryland Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program at the University of Maryland resulted in beneficial adjustments in the diets of program participants. The diets of graduates and new enrollees were analyzed in this study. Participants made positive dietary changes during the program, and these changes were maintained by three-fourths of the graduates after graduation. Results indicate that these positive changes occurred in the diets of graduates despite their reduced purchasing power during enrollment.(lsp)
