A New Species of the Weevil Subgenus Angarophyllobius Korotyaev et Egorov (Coleoptera, Curculionidae: Entiminae, Genus Phyllobius Germ.) from the Northern Coast of Lake Baikal

A new species of the subgenus Angarophyllobius Korotyaev et Egorov, Phyllobius rodionovi sp. n., is described from the northwestern coast of Lake Baikal. The new species is rather close to Phyllobius mongolicus Korotyaev et Egorov, but may be easily distinguished by the noticeably beveled humeral prominences and somewhat rounded sides of the elytra, and by a smaller and less sharpened femoral tooth, especially on the fore femur.
